I'm currently working on writing up notes for the first adventure for my group (pirate-like shenanigans), and the thought of wealth popped up. Normally, I have a general idea of how much cash players should get for something; being a bodyguard nets a set amount, this particular Syrneth Ruin nets another, etc.

But now we have Wealth Points, which I've always had a love/hate relationship with when used in other games. I'm trying to determine just what sort of numbers need to be said to keep things in character in order to inspire a greedy character/party to action.

Read somewhere on the forums about getting a published adventure created. Yes there are examples in the rulebook for action and dramatic sequences and the quickstart game was pretty cool; perhaps have a few published adventures kinda explaining more if the rules is what some of us may need to get a better understanding of the rules, even if they are PDFs.  With everyone talking about house ruling this and that, maybe we need a few adventures so some of us can get a better grasp of truly how this new system is to be run as.

Hi everyone!

I´ve one question about the brute squads rules: when do they attack in an Action Sequence? Because they don´t use any Raises...Does it means that they act the last ones in a round?

So, I'm working on my first game for net month convention, and I've been thinking about starting In Media Res, with the players already deep in a naval battle with the ship from the Villain-of-the-day. The starting scene have our Heroes aboard their ship, in the middle of a crazy storm, fighting against the Villain... And after a little bit of tension and danger, suddenly the storm will stop, substituted by a strange fog, and the Villain ship will be out of view...

Ok, so here's a potential project for some enterprising soul.  It's clear from reading through the different nation entries that the history of Théah in 2nd edition has changed in subtle ways.  The War of the Cross may have happened earlier.  The Montaigne invasion of Castille has been repelled.  There are probably a dozen more changes that I missed.

Anyone interested in running 7th Sea 2e over Roll20 or another virtual gaming table? I'd love to get a campaign going and think it would be easy to recruit people.

I am not going through the entire skill list and the knacks, but how would I run the following skills in this new system due to the simplified shortened list of the skills currently presented?

1. Etiquette in the King Court?
2. Land Management?
3. Appraising or even creating artisitic objects?  Forgeries?
4. Crafting objects?
5. Gambling and Cheating?  This is a necessity in any RPG from my experience. After all almost every game I have played has had a Tavern/Saloon/Cantina/Starport.
