Hi folks! I would like to ask other players and GMs about an aspect of using Rose and Cross Knights in your campaigns.
Random musings and discussions around anything related to the 7th Sea 2nd Edition
The next book is available on the Kickbacker site. Some interesting things:
- Matushka's husband and the people he empowers,
- untrained Sorte users,
- a pretty picture of the new look Freiburg
- Crescent emigrants in Ussura and Sarmatia
- Koshchei
Has anybody thought about making a 7th Sea Discord, by any chance? For those who aren't aware of discord, it's a free voice and text chat app designed specifically for gaming. It's good for a community to come together to talk about things, and I've seen it used fairly well for RPG sessions. If anybody is interested, I can create a server and post it here for you guys.
Mike Curry's comments on topic over on Reddit have been rolling around in my head for a bit.
After some preparatory sessions in order to make my players understand the rules for 2nd Edition, I'm am about to start off with a broadscope campaign, starting some 20 years before the official setting. I was however wondering if someone has compiled the timeline for the major events of Théah's recent history. Does any one of you folks know if such a tool is available?
Hello,
I may have been a bit too generous with the story step and now one of my players have finesse 5, Weaponry 5, legendary traits (finesse) and a Signature sword.
Obviously, this player wants swordfights. However, it is kinda tricky to give him some challenge since he gets an average of 7 raises per round.
What is bugging me the most however is, what if instead of swordfight, he had choosen to invest in tempt or notice.
I'm playing around with some ideas to go along with Rob Donoghue's Expanded Ship Rules.
In a chase between two ships, what Opportunities might you offer either of the captains? Here's my list so far:
I feel my questions and post will belong in that part of the fourm and would like access...thank you
Laith Cross-
So I'm writing a series of adventures for my party in which they go interact with a few of the secret societies and get a general tour of the mainland. I'm starting with a story dealing with Die Kreuzritter and I have a few questions.
1) I'm wondering how does the average party dispose of things like ghouls and wights.
2) Do normal weapons work on them? Are there some more capable than others?
3) Is there any book (past or present) have any specifics on what sort of damage, special attacks or magic might be used by them?
I'm curious what other people have come up with. I'll start with an easy one...
