Translations into other languages like Spanish or French? There was a call out for translators (publisher-level) some months back with the call for writers, but no foreign publisher is yet named as a partner.

NoSoloRol is translating the whole of 7th Sea 2e books to Spanish. They're going to start a preorder/patreon in the near future (original schedule was September-October). I have no idea about other languages, sorry.

Spanish is a very widely spoken language, almost all of South America and Central America are Spanish speaking countries. That is over 420 Million South Americans, less the 200 Million Brazilians (who speak Portuguese), add to this 120 Million Mexicans who also Speak Spanish, plus another 40 Million Spanish-speaking Central Americans, and of course the 40 Million Spaniards from the parent country of Espania. Huge demographic potential all round.

I'm Spanish myself and I was eager to back 7th Sea on kickstarter, then we got the call for internacional partners for translations and I got my doubts, I wanted to support the project but didn't want to end with two copies of the corebook. There are some companies that have stated they won't support official translations of their material and I want to support as much as I can translated versions so that this approach doesn't become the norm. Also, I still had some concerns due to the biggest spanish company having a reputation of adquiring the rights to translate the works only to drop the project after a rulebook or two. NoSoloRol on the other hand has done some impressive and solid work with other titles (most recently Vampire 20A) and work together with local retailers so you can fund the project through your local store thus, supporting small retailers, translations and, in the end, JWP.
