I'd like to get folks' thoughts on something. Now I'll preface this with "This was something that was asked for by the players."

For an Action Sequence, the way the rules are written, it's exact in what the GM is supposed to tell the players about a Risk (You will take 3 wounds as a consequence, you have 3 opportunities to grab the rare map, protect the child, and overhear the conversation with the Duke). My players decided they didn't want everything laid out exactly and to make it more 'descriptive' until they actually spend a Raise.

I went through the book cherry-picking what I needed to know to quench my curiosity, so Fluff wise, I didn't notice anything special (except that 5 out of 7 of eisen territory are rich?). However, I do found to things that bug me a little and I'd like to know if I miss something or not.

Dramatic Sequences:

Ok, it's like an action sequence. Except that when players are out of raise, what happens? It seems like you roll again and spend raise again, or that the sequence ends, with or without a satisfiying conclusion...

Hello everybody! I'm new to these forums, so if this question was asked already, please direct me tro the proper thread :)

Having re-read the rules again, before today's inaugural 2ed session, I've noticed the wording of boni given to Heroes and Villains due to the Heroes Dramatic Wounds mentions Risks only!

So, I'm working on my first game for net month convention, and I've been thinking about starting In Media Res, with the players already deep in a naval battle with the ship from the Villain-of-the-day. The starting scene have our Heroes aboard their ship, in the middle of a crazy storm, fighting against the Villain... And after a little bit of tension and danger, suddenly the storm will stop, substituted by a strange fog, and the Villain ship will be out of view...
