Multiple Heroes v One Brute Squad

Page 192: "If multiple Heroes are facing multiple Squads, the GM decides which Squads attack which Heroes. A Squad must deal all of its damage to a single Hero."

What do you do if multiple heroes are fighting a single Brute Squad? Can you share damage amongst the Heroes?

The system is abstract in dealing its wounds. So you just choose who gets them.
While I don't think there's anything wrong with splitting up the damage, in our games we're fine with one player taking the brunt, so there's the feeling of one hero taking it for the team.

It's unlikely that multiple heroes fighting a brute squad are going to take any damage unless the brute squad are assassins and deal it prior to the Heroes going.

If there's any members of the Brute Squad left after being dogpiled by the Heroes, then they'd only deal their Wounds to a single Hero.

Seeing as how starting Heroes tend to generate at least 3 to 4 Raises on their rolls, unless you've got a small party of PCs or a very large Brute Squad, said Brutes are going to whittled down to nothing long before they'd have a chance to act.

I'd go the 'aggro' way: there is NOW multiples Heroes fighting the same, single, brute squad, but it's unlikely to have begun like this. I'd say the brutes would keep attacking the one who 'aggroed' them originaly, no matter how many others have joined the fray. So, if any damage is dealt, it would be to whomever engaged them first.
